As Administrative Coordinator, Kathryn Bradford (A&S ’06) is an important member of the Shaw Center team. Kathryn began her career at Syracuse University in 1997 and developed deep institutional knowledge that positively impacts campus and community partnerships. For many years, Kathryn focused her efforts as an Academic Support Coordinator at the SU Bookstore, which opened up opportunities to collaborate with Shaw Center programs. Combining her professional experience with a degree in psychology, Kathryn stepped into the Shaw Center Program Coordinator position to focus on improving the student experience through mentorship in professional practice. In that role, she supervised student tutors in the Syracuse University Literacy Corps and coordinated their placement in the Syracuse City School District and other community organizations. Kathryn now manages the operations of the Shaw Center to ensure the seamless delivery of service learning and community engagement activities, supporting professional staff, interns, and tutors.
