Food Busters engages students in hands-on STEM focused lessons that explore the relationships between food, nutrition, health and media to increase students’ literacy, mathematics and science comprehension.
In 2021, Food Busters was awarded the Orange Circle Award– an award that “recognizes altruistic members of the Syracuse University community who have done extraordinary things in the service of others.” Food Busters was recognized for their work done to improve literacy skills and public health awareness.
