The Mary Ann Shaw Center and the Syracuse University Literacy Corps (SULC) gives our gratitude to the Gettinger Family Foundation for their continuous support.

The Gettinger Family Foundation’s mission is to have a direct and immediate impact on people’s lives and society. They help provide support in education, patient care, medical research, and community wellness.

Since 2014, their gift has helped SULC increase tutoring opportunities for SU students in the Syracuse community. SULC Tutors provide rich literacy support and serve as role models to SCSD students.

Thank you to the foundation for their generous gift this year that has helped facilitate direct impact in the Syracuse City School District.
