Alison Fredericks brings her years of experience at Syracuse University and passion for supporting students to the Shaw Center. Alison is a three-time alum with a bachelor’s in art education and two masters’ in higher education and early childhood special education. She began her affiliation with Syracuse University 25+ years ago as a part-time first-generation student. Since then, she has held various positions within University College, the School of Education, the College of Visual and Performing Arts, Newhouse, and Retention and Student Success. Alison is currently the mentor for the class of 2023 Posse scholars. Before joining us, she recently managed the SummerStart, SSUI, and OTL programs, all of which support student success. Alison is thrilled to be joining the Shaw Center team and looks forward to building relationships amongst the students, staff, faculty, and community.
