The Shaw Center supports literacy and service learning with a robust array of academic and logistical support. As a “living learning laboratory,” we offer a network of vital resources, from transportation and safety coordination/training to sophisticated metrics on pedagogy. Data on performance facilitates improvement on behalf of the community organizations we serve. Our tracking and other assessment tools add to a body of research in literacy, writing, nutrition and a host of other academic and social areas.

Through impact reports, white papers and other documents, the Shaw Center fosters accountability to the Chancellor’s Office, Academic Affairs, campus constituents and community partners alike.
